After shampooing and air-drying, I flat ironed my hair first without applying any products, and then I applied a very little bit of Flat Ironing Creme to my hair. It felts so silky and it was an instant detangler as well. It really does keep your hair moisturized all day. It even kept it untangled all day. At work I comb through my hair at least once. The comb just glides through my very thick hair. I find I do not lose many strands anymore since it does really condition your hair. My hair stays moisturized until I shampoo it again.
