Attached are comparison pics, the first picture is on the day I did my braids and the second picture is 10 days later. Here is the regimen I follow.
My Regimen is as follows:
Any washing is done in the morning so that by the time I go to bed I don't have to worry about waking up with a soaking wet pillow.
Sunday
Oil scalp with either DOO GRO Stimulating Growth Oil or DOO GRO Medicated Hair Vitalizer Triple Strength if needed.
Monday
Co-Wash
Spray scalp and braids with braid spray, then infusium 23, and better braids leave in conditioner.
Tuesday
Oil scalp with either DOO GRO Stimulating Growth Oil or DOO GRO Medicated Hair Vitalizer Triple Strength if needed.
Wednesday
Co-Wash
Spray scalp and braids with braid spray, then infusium 23, and better braids leave in conditioner.
Thursday
Oil scalp with either DOO GRO Stimulating Growth Oil or DOO GRO Medicated Hair Vitalizer Triple Strength if needed.
Friday
Shampoo and condition
Spray scalp and braids with braid spray, infusium 23, and better braids leave in conditioner.
Saturday
Oil scalp with either DOO GRO Stimulating Growth Oil or DOO GRO Medicated Hair Vitalizer Triple Strength if needed.
This is how I shampoo my braids pour streams of diluted shampoo and warm water from a large cup over my braids. Squeeze braids with a sponge to shampoo and rinse. Towel squeeze, use a turbie towel to absorb the excess water that drains. After it has stopped dripping, I add my Infusium 23 and my braid spray all over the scalp and hair. To condition I put a generous amount of conditioner in a big cup and add water to thin it out and pour it over my head. Then pour some conditioner on my hands and make sure I get it on my new growth.
The only time I spray the Braid Spray on the base of the braids and on my scalp is on wash days. Any other time I just add the spray to the actual braids and not area where the braid is attached to my hair. I do this to prevent extreme buildup which makes it hard to remove braids and de tangle hair after.
